This is Minnie Pooch

You guessed it. A year ago our farrier came over and presented us with this little bundle of canine joy. She was so tiny. A mixture of several breeds, I thought might resemble a chihuahua at the time, grew into quite a bit bigger dog than anticipated. Cute none the less, and a imperial bitch deluxe personality, a whole lot bigger than her size. She's my side-kick. Minnie goes to work with me every day.

Under the counter at work.

Riding in the car.

No, I don't let her hang out while the car is in motion!

Complaining I won't give her any ice cream.

Painted tails.

Ain't I cute!

Sleeping on the counter at work. Her favorite places are up high.

I forgot the goat...

Her name is Pretty Princess...huh? Yup, that's her name. Don't let the kids name the pets. Like that's going to happen. When you have kids, we call it compromising on the pet naming proccess. I think she's around 4 years old now. Princess is as mean as a snake and she's as fat as a pig in shit!
Voila, the goat, Princess...

Just when I thought...

we have to many dogs. We saddle up and take off for the unknown a couple of weeks ago. We made our usual round and as we were picking up our pace towards home, a liver colored pooch started following us. Makayla, of course tried to shoooo him off, but he was very persistant in following us. We arrived at the house, and the dog tailed our horses right through the gate. Ron was not happy he invaded our space. Any how...we unsaddled for the evening, we went in the house and when morning come, there was no dog. Yay!

The next evening was the same story, minus the dog. As we approached our cut-off to make our evening round, there was THAT dog! That mangey pooch followed us nearly 8 miles and back home again. Ron felt sorry for him, decided he needed watering since he trekked the whole distance with us. I began to think he needed food as well. Needless to say, he got his belly full and retired under a tree to rest while we unsaddled our horses. Hustling about cause it was still hot, we went in the house.

Next day...Makayla is looking for the dog. He was still hanging around, so Ron told her if she wanted that dog it was her responsibility. What a sap! They spent the morning fixing him a 20 by 10 kennel run along side the others kennels. Having a man who loves animals is a good thing. We now have an other dog, along with, the other 9 we already had. Yippeeeee! LOL Makayla named the dog Happy. Not! the end of story.

Happy the Pit/Lab mix. Cooling off during our ride.

I'm not finished yet...

I just haven't taken the time to write or post events over the past year. I'm certainly making up for lost time today.  The things we get bogged down with sometimes are meaningless if we don't have something to show for our efforts. Having a Grandaughter we take care of full time, and a husband who demands a time share in this "crazy little thing called life". Not to mention work! It consumes me, nearly 60 to 70 hours a week most of the time. Once in awhile I have to ask myself, "Is it all worth it. I say YES!

I have a great Husband who takes care of Makayla the majority of the time. A great company to work for, and awesome co-workers. So, since I spend most of my awake hours at the work front, it is important for me to have social skills. LOL  And most importantly, a great client base which has afforded me my living arrangements. Now you ask me...what more could an under educated, middle aged fat woman want out of life? HORSES of course!

Handsome, my Grandaughters horse.

My horse Jerzey girl.

This is more of what I do for a living...

You have to love the fact I get to do what I like most for a living. Pets are wonderful. And like Grandchildren. You can love them, spoil them and send them home to their parents.
